Putting It All on the Table!
When a client gets a tour of AFH and witnesses the vast talent and creative services under one roof, magic happens! Kate Chertaavian Fine Art (KCFA) hired us back in 2018 to shoot the prestigious art collection gracing the five floors of the renovated No. 284 boutique guest house in the Back Bay. The initial tour of AFH to discuss their photography needs led to additional commissions—to design and print No. 284’s coffee table book showcasing the artwork, and a custom, three-dimensional artwork from our 3D Design Studio to hang in the breakfast nook located on the fifth floor.
The success of this collaboration led to a smaller job for No. 284, and in 2022, the request for a second coffee table book in a new location, including once again both interior photography and book design and layout. The location was The Quin’ House at 217 Commonwealth Avenue in Boston's Back Bay—formerly a private social club founded in 1886 as the Algonquin Club, renamed under new ownership.

Our Photography Studio’s contribution of 18 interior shots highlight the impressive art collection installed in the renovated space, reflecting both the history and glamor of Old Boston and the innovation and vibrance of New Boston. The images are being used on their member-only website, in promotional materials and in a hard-cover, coffee table book, designed by AFH’s Graphic Design Studio.
Impact
Long-term partnerships that involve inter-studio collaborations with clients such as KCFA are ideal for our studios. For AFH, they provide multiple touchpoints for our teens’ participation, encourage peer-to-peer collaborations and teamwork, build our capacity to problem solve for our clients, and generate year-to-year revenue streams. By hiring AFH, our clients have the added advantage of one-stop shopping for their creative solutions and the opportunity to not only deepen their investment in the local economy, but also grow the next generation of creative talent.
