The real estate investment firm DivcoWest commissioned AFH (once again!) to create a visual response to HERstory at Cambridge Crossing (CX), an impactful art installation celebrating the life and legacy of six Cambridge women who have made a significant impact in Cambridge and beyond. Each woman was researched, sketched, and painted by an AFH teen artist, giving them the opportunity to draw inspiration from these visionaries and understand their contributions.

Installed and celebrated at The Shed at CX, these larger-than-life portraits offer the power behind the story of each woman. When collectively told, they share their strength in overcoming adversity and how they helped to shape the past and present. Celebrating these influential women and our teens together on the public stage empowers our teens, while inspiring the broader community and future generations to come.
